Campfire Tales

Gather 'round the campfire and join storyteller Jo Ho as she takes you back to the good old days of story swappin' by the light of the moon. No goblins or ghosts, but globs of giggles in these outdoor woodsy tales. There will be howling galore with listeners yellin' "Tell me more!" This program will be held at the Northland Rolladium Skate Center located next door to the Liberty branch.

Children's Film Festival: "The James Marshall Fairytale Collection"

Come join us each Wednesday morning in June for a variety of short children's films. Each film lasts about one hour. See you there! Recommended for ages 2 - 12. No registration is required.

Eric Vaughn's Magic: Impossible

This program will be held at the Northland Rolladium Skate Center located next door to the Liberty branch.

Exotic Animals R Us

When: Friday, June 07, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Let us bring the zoo to you! We have a variety of animals like baby kangaroos, a fox, a monkey, a porcupine, turtles, and more. Exotic Animals R Us animals have been seen on Rachael Ray, The Early Show, and David Letterman. This program will be held at the Northland Rolladium Skate Center located next door to the Liberty branch.

Book Club

When: Monday, June 10, 2013 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Liberty at Programming Room

Join us for fun and fellowship as we discuss plots, characters, and styles in various books. Each book club does a different book, and registration is usually required, so we suggest patrons call the individual branches to reserve their spot and check out the upcoming titles.

Dig Deep with Dino O'Dell

Dig for delicious worms, swim in peanut butter, and hike to an underground cave! This interactive show will engage your senses with funny characters, lots of action, music, jokes, and stories. This program will be held at the Northland Rolladium Skate Center located next door to the Liberty branch.

Homeschooling 101

Are you thinking about homeschooling, but don't know how to get started? An experienced home educator examines the benefits of teaching children and teens at home, explains Missouri Law, and discusses curriculum options. Information about local support groups and opportunities will be shared. Even if you're already homeschooling, this program can be helpful to you, too!

Dig into Nature with WildHeart

Discover how you can unplug from electronics and connect to wild things right in your own backyard. Learn how to call in a barred owl or sniff out a spider. WildHeart is the Parent’s Choice® and Emmy Award® winning family group, conservation educators, and entertainers. Kids and families will "dig" their original music and groovy actions. Also, take a peek at their portable, mini-backyard zoo! It’s WildHeart bringing the heart of the wild, to the heart of the child. This program will be held at the Northland Rolladium Skate Center located next door to the Liberty branch.

Teen Lock-In

When: Friday, June 14, 2013 - 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Liberty at Programming Room

When the branch shuts down, it’s time for the teens to party it up! Join us for a crazy time full of fun, friends, and food! Registration and a signed permission form are required. Contact the branch to register.
