Storytime for Babies

Join us for fun interaction and lots of repetition. Baby storytime is designed to enrich one-on-one time between babies and their parent or caregiver. Enjoy music and movement, action rhymes, stories and playtime. For babies 9-18 months. Registration required and limited.

Storytime for Toddlers

Stories, music and movement are all part of Toddler storytimes. This storytime acquaints toddlers with the library and fosters early reading skills. In addition, Toddler storytime offers group interaction and participation. Come join in the fun. For ages 18-36 months. Program may require parental participation and registration.

Anime Movie Night

Basic Yoga

When: Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Lee's Summit at Programming Room

If you have always wanted to try yoga, this is your chance. Join in this restorative class with slow-paced stretching, some simple breathing exercises, and perhaps seated meditation. This is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. All levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and/or towel.

Photography Forum

Where: Lee's Summit at Programming Room

Photographers of all skill levels come together to share ideas about photography, camera equipment, and the many things you can do on your computer and online with photos. Each month we will choose a theme (e.g. clouds, architecture), take pictures, and share them the following month. Selected photos may be displayed at the Library.

Victor and Penny: Unearthing Antique Pop

Victor & Penny is a vocal duo that offers up antique pop from the 1930s and 1940s on ukulele and a lovely old electric guitar. With charm and good humor, they bring a fresh twist to old standards, including the Mills Brothers song "Dirt Dishin’ Daisy." Their performances also feature unique arrangements of modern tunes and clever originals that make the most of their infectious energy, deft jazz guitar licks, and fiery ukulele rhythm section.

Table Tile Mosaic Designs
