Oak Grove Library Stitchers

If you like to quilt, knit, crochet, embroider, needlepoint or any other needlework, this group is for you! Bring your own projects and supplies, share ideas, learn or teach. Experienced and beginners welcome. We meet the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Self-Defense for Teens

Teens! Learn how to defend yourself from attacks. Tamara Shumate teaches self-defense tactics including hit and run escapes and some pressure points. Learn how to be proactive instead of reactive.

Join us for fun and fellowship as we discuss plots, characters, and styles in various books. Each book club does a different book, and registration is usually required, so we suggest patrons call the individual branches to reserve their spot and check out the upcoming titles.

Ever seen an owl up close? What about a hawk or falcon? Come learn and see these beautiful birds, and gain insight into their habits. Operation Wildlife has combined its ever popular "Dayshift" and "Nightshift" programs to bring a variety of raptors.
