Where: South Independence at Programming Room

Stories, music and movement are all part of Toddler storytimes. This storytime acquaints toddlers with the library and fosters early reading skills. In addition, Toddler storytime offers group interaction and participation. Come join in the fun. For ages 18-36 months. Program may require parental participation and registration.

Cloud Genealogy

The "Cloud" is located at myriad computer servers online and is becoming the wave of the future for storage of data so that it is accessible from any computing device. This class discusses genealogical uses of the "Cloud" such as social networking, online file storage, and sharing. Beginning Level.

LINC Chess Basics

When: Tuesday, June 11, 2013 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: South Independence at Programming Room

The LINC Chess program teaches students in grades K-12 chess basics including how pieces move and how to make checkmate. Students will also learn focus, good sportsmanship, and critical thinking.

Teen Tie-Dye

You'll have fun learning the basics of tie-dying. Bring a 100 percent pre-washed cotton t-shirt, socks, boxers, or head scarf and we'll provide the rest of the supplies. Be sure to wear old clothing.
